Jos\u00e9 explains, \u201cKulto describes ourselves. We are very curious. If I mention something and Jian Bang doesn\u2019t know, he will try to find why.\u201d He continues, \u201cBoth of us are very obsessed and intense about the experience, food details, and the philosophy is the one that really connects us. It reflects both of us, (hence), the name.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" src=\"https:\/\/feeds.oddle.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/ezgif.com-gif-maker-1.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16326\"\/><figcaption> Chef-Owner Jos\u00e9 Alonso and General Manager Jian Bang <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The heat of the kitchen is an environment where lifelong friendships are forged and vivid memories are shared. Jos\u00e9 and Jian Bang have known each other for six years now and they hold an unbreakable bond. Well, they attribute it to their common goal of striving for perfection. Jian Bang shares, \u201cWe are always pushing each other, from the food quality to the ambience. It\u2019s the mindset of, I need to be better than yesterday, and tomorrow I need to be better than today.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-emerging-stronger-from-the-pandemic\"><strong>Emerging stronger from the pandemic<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" src=\"https:\/\/feeds.oddle.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/talk.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16325\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The pandemic has posed several difficulties and challenges for the duo at Kulto, but <em>it has only made them stronger<\/em>, Jian Bang shared.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>The pandemic has helped us realise that in whatever difficult situation, you always have a bright opportunity.<\/p><cite>Jian Bang, General Manager of Kulto<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>While the first thought of other eateries would be to pivot immediately to delivery platforms, the duo thought deeper. Jian Bang further explains, \u201cWe thought about why people would opt for food deliveries? What food would people go for?\u201d The duo went on to cater a menu specially for deliveries, for instance, offering Spanish Omelette which is not available on their restaurant menu. It has since become a new hit amongst customers, new and old. They are indeed very <em>Kulto<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kulto-s-signatures\"><strong>Kulto\u2019s signatures<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kulto captures straightforward, honest cooking &#8211; simply to serve an authentic Spanish meal with quality and fresh produce taking centre stage. \u201cAt Kulto, we respect the flavour. Kulto\u2019s Paella recipe calls for Bomba rice, a premium short-grain rice grown in Spain. The garlic bread is flavourful and crisp, and the prawns are cooked to perfection &#8211; soft, sweet and juicy. This dish is further elevated with a local flair, with Chef\u2019s homemade sambal. \u201cHaving lived in Singapore for so many years, sambal is one of my favourite sauces,\u201d Jos\u00e9 mentioned. Rest assured that this dish is bound to whet your appetite.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" src=\"https:\/\/feeds.oddle.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/egg.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16323\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Kulto\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/kulto.oddle.me\/en_SG\/product\/8a818d887af0841a017af12242234ab3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Traditional Spanish Omelette<\/a> ($18) is a must-have for your delivery cravings. Made with dishes you can easily find in your kitchen, Chef describes it as a comforting dish you can have all day round.
