New interpetations of chinese and local food
'...crisped duck pow pock ($17). These were three buns (man tou) filled with pieces of crispy duck and vegetables. A bit like eating Peking duck, but more substantial. We liked this dish.'

'“Long Life Vegetarian Noodles”. Fine wheat flour noodles are fired up in the wok, laced with a smokey breath of ‘wok hei’, and tossed with a generous mix of spinach, sugar peas, beansprouts and radicchio. We enjoyed how the noodles remained moist without being slicked in oil. The sweet and bitter mix of greens gave this simple dish an unexpected depth of flavour.'

'Hainanese Pork Chop with Steak Chips. At least the pork was tender and the dish arrived warm. This concurs with what some of the other reviewers had said – that the mains are actually delicious.'
