Taste-wise, it had a fishcake-like chewy texture with a smooth exterior. Each of the mock sashimi boasted slightly different textures and tastes, almost similar to the real ones we have at Japanese restaurants.'

'New to their menu since August 2017, is the Vegetable Tendon With Miso Soup ($12.90). Who doesn’t love deep-fried Japanese food? Needless to say, this was an easy favourite as the vegetables were fried to a perfect crisp. The vegetables include mushroom, asparagus, lady’s fingers and even a whole sheet of seaweed. Even the miso soup wasn’t too salty, which can sometimes be the downfall of an otherwise great Nippon meal.'
