'Boon Tong Kee’s boiled chicken rice (白鸡饭 bái jī fàn) is so good that you can eat the whole dish without a single ounce of chilli. The rice is the king with its super fragrant aroma that is so addictive when consumed with their special sesame and soy sauce concoction. The chicken is soft and tender and tastes the best when soaked in their special sesame/soy sauce. The chilli gives that added kick if you need it.'

'The chicken is served at room temperature, tender, succulent, tasty and cooked to perfection. You can taste the coagulate oil in between the chicken skin and the flesh. The flesh from the breast part is also moist, bouncy and with a good bite to it. The chopping is so clean, you won’t find any splinter of chicken bones on the plate.'

'The smooth and almost silky grains of rice were nicely covered in a fragrant blend of ginger and chicken fats, and offers unparalleled satisfaction when you have it with their unique chili sauce. The chili sauce gives a fiery kick, but is well balanced by the garlicky notes and mild aroma from dried orange peel. But the pièce de résistance here is definitely the gelatinous, moist chicken that oozes flavour in every bite.'
