With its humble roots as a small coffee shop in Ashiya, Japan, Henri Charpentier was founded in 1969 and has close to a hundred stores in Japan and Singapore today. Having set up shop in huge malls like ION Orchard, VivoCity and Great World City, Henri Charpentier is slowly becoming a familiar favourite with many Singaporeans, but did you know that the brand has a 5-time Guinness World Record for selling the largest number of financiers in the world? The woman behind this roaring success is Ami Arita, CEO of Henri Charpentier.
