Supremely satisfying
'These slippery noodles were full of that tantalising wok-hei, which only points to the prowess of the chefs at KEK Seafood. With fatty slices of lap cheong (Chinese sausage), squid, crunchy bean sprouts and indulgent lard bits. Each mouthful was satisfying and the eggs added a delectable richness to the hor fun. The hor fun travelled pretty well—the noodles still retained a good bite and were still warm.'

'This Salted Egg Sotong ($18 / $28 / $38) is one of the better ones I have had. They deep fried the squid rings and tossed them with salted egg sauce, chilli padi and curry leaves. The flavours are bold and it makes for an addictive snack because of the slick of salted egg yolk that coats each crunchy piece.'
