Oddle Eats

Back in the 1970s, Keng Eng Kee Seafood started off from a stall in Old Havelock Road Hawker Centre. Upon the demolition of the former Havelock Road Hawker Centre, Keng Eng Kee Seafood shifted to Alexandra Village. Till now, the name had stayed with us for more than 20 years. We are fortunate that we had grown, from a small rented stall to a bigger premise at our current location. Most importantly, we are happy that we have gained the support of our loyal customers who had been dining with us through these years.

Keng Eng Kee Seafood, also known as KEK Zi Char, is no ordinary eatery. But it’s not just because of their Michelin Plate. Here, family comes first.

Meet third-generation owners Paul, Wayne and Jia Min. Forming the heart of the team, they share the importance of the kampong spirit. It's no myth - communal spirit is well and alive at KEK. Paul shares how his Grandma urged him to not let go of any staff members, despite the impact of COVID-19 on the business.

Serving up divine zi char fare is a feat in itself, but how does the family stay true to their philosophy?
