Just from the name of ‘The Social Outcast’, one might assume the entrepreneurs behind this eatery exuded boldness and are obnoxiously different. Interestingly, the burger and grill concept stemmed from very humble beginnings, as owners Mint & Noelle set out to make their dreams of opening their own eatery become reality. Even with chefs critiquing the duo's business 'not going to work’ and that ‘it doesn’t make sense’ - the odds stood no chance for this strong-willed duo. They have since expanded to Bedok Shopping Complex, with a third outlet on the way. 'I enjoyed the buttery buns that were crisp on the outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside. The beef patty was a pleasant blend of fats and meat, resulting in a juicy and flavoursome mouthfeel. Even though the burger sat out for long, the beef wasn’t tough. '
