Tender and flavourful
'The one that stood out for me was the salted mackerel. I’ve had this in numerous Japanese restaurants but I’ve never had one this big. It was big enough to share. The fish was quite tender and flaky and very flavorful.'

Generous portions, very filling
'We tried the Saba Shio Teishoku ($10.90), which features a salt-grilled mackerel, a bowl of rice, miso soup, cold tofu and pickled cabbage. The portion of saba fish was generous. Its skin was crispy, and the flesh was firm and tender. Don’t forget to give the fish a squeeze of lemon before digging in. I really enjoyed the saba with the warm fluffy rice! The set meal was very wholesome, and very filling.'

Great value
'The chicken teishoku at $13.90++ was great value with a huge, juicy chicken patty seared to a delectable golden brown.'
