As long as the year has felt so far, we can scarce believe we’re already in the third quarter of 2020! Through the lockdown, dining-out ban, group size restrictions and working from home, good food has nevertheless kept us going as we trudged through each day and settled down into new routines at home. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to say that food delivery has been life-changing.

And, if you happen to be planning for your next stay-home meal, you’re in the right place. We’ve rounded up the best new restaurants in Singapore doing islandwide delivery starting October 2020.

With true islandwide delivery across all restaurants with Oddle (no “does not deliver to your area”, grrr), there is no need to break a sweat to get your favourite foods on the daily. These restaurants now send their food to you!

1. Ban Leong Wah Hoe Seafood Restaurant

Founded in 1986 by Teh Chor Joo, Ban Leong Wah Hoe Seafood Restaurant had humble beginnings as an economic rice stall. Eventually, it expanded into serving zi char fare and now specialises in seafood!

Ban Leong Wah Hoe Seafood Restaurant’s famed Chilli Crab (from $84), with their signature tangy and spicy chilli-tomato sauce, has captured the hearts of foodies from as far as Germany and Japan. Other must-try dishes include the Stir Fried La La (from $18) and Birthday Noodle (from $12).

The Har Cheong Gai, or Prawn Paste Chicken (from $9.60), is also loved by long-time patrons. Sink your teeth into the fragrant and crispy chicken skin—you’ll understand why.

2. Burrata Bar

At Burrata Bar, their burrata cheese is handcrafted by experts and made with milk sourced from the Murgia region in Italy. Fresh burrata (never frozen ones!) is flown into Singapore on a weekly basis.

What’s more remarkable is that the artisan cheese is served in generous portions. Burrata Bar promises at least 125g of the rich and savoury goodness in every dish. Talk about dedication!

Truffle Burrata & Antipasto Board (S$85, for 4 to 5 pax)

If you’re looking to share with your family and friends in a cozy gathering, I recommend the Truffle Burrata & Antipasto Board ($85, for 4 to 5 pax). With smoky roasted vegetables and San Marzano tomatoes, you’ll get to savour the best flavours of Italian summers.

Pasta-lovers, opt for the classic Tagliatelle Bolognese ($26), featuring creamy burrata set on top of perfectly al dente tagliatelle in a beef and pork ragu. Sandwiches? Try the hearty Chicken Parm ($22) or The Italian Stallion ($22). With the latter’s assortment of parma ham, salami, mortadella and more, your senses will be satisfied.

3. Rumah Makan Minang

Rumah Makan Minang is a halal Indonesian restaurant specializing in Minangkabau cuisine from the highlands of West Sumatra.

Their Indonesian Tahu Telur ($8.25), a fried tofu cake adorned with grated peanuts and a sweet-spicy soy dip, is one of their most popular and iconic dishes. For meat-lovers, the Beef Rendang ($8.80) promises a flavourful bite with tender beef cubes that have been stewed for eight hours!

If you’re still in your WFH routine or simply looking for halal food delivery, the Nasi Padang Box Sets are a great choice for weekday lunches. Pick your accompanying choice of proteins from Beef Rendang ($11), Ayam Gravy ($11), or the famed Ikan Belado ($11) for your well-deserved midday break.

4. Pagi Sore Indonesian Restaurant

More Indonesian fare? Yes, please! With award-winning Pagi Sore Indonesian Restaurant on the extensive food delivery directory Oddle Eats, you can get your fill of Balinese cuisine even from the comfort of your own home.

[smartslider3 slider=”92″]

If you’re looking for something unique, try the restaurant’s exclusive Ikan Ota Kukus (from $28.90). Conceptualised and invented by the owner, Chef Liyana, the dish features a whole steamed Leatherjacket fish topped with a rich and decadent ota-based gravy.

Other must-haves include Ayam Bali (from $9.90), a barbecued boneless chicken thigh drizzled with Balinese-style sweet sauce. For a taste of the sea, opt for the creamy Udang Mentega (from $27.80), or wok-fried prawns in a concoction of sugar, butter and spices. Definitely a win if you’re searching for halal food delivery for your #StayHome meals!

5. Plank Sourdough Pizza

How could one possibly elevate pizza to even greater heights? Well, Plank Sourdough Pizza has done just that. With its handcrafted, artisanal sourdough pizza crusts, the restaurant boasts the title of being the first of its kind in Singapore.

[smartslider3 slider=”94″]

Plank’s wide array of pizzas, with numbers for names (such as Pizza 0), is a unique feature. Try Pizza 6 ($26), an amalgamation of creamy mozzarella, parma ham, crisp rocket leaves and a tangy tomato sauce atop their signature sourdough crust. You’ll find yourself kneading more slices with each bite.

For your #StayHome meals, the Combo for 4 ($110) will make a great family dinner. Choose any two pizzas from their menu, a pasta, and your preferred sharing dishes to share with your loved ones.

6. Indian Express — A Brand of the Song of India

Brought to you by The Song of India is Indian Express, which offers authentic Indian fare without burning a hole in your pocket.

Their Mutton Dum Biryani ($16) is slightly different from the regular ol’ biryani that we are familiar with. Fragrant basmati rice is simmered together with the mutton, rather than cooked separately. Blended with the aromas of traditional spices and seasonings, this method lends more depth and complexity to the taste of the dish.

Mutton Dum Biryani (S$16)

Other must-haves include the smoky Chicken Tikka ($12) and Prawn Masaledar ($19), featuring shrimp cooked in a mouth-watering masala curry. With some delicious Naan (from $3 per piece) to go along, your meal is complete!

Indian Express offers Indian food delivery islandwide delivery in Singapore from noon to midnight, so you can get your spicy food cravings fixes all the way till supper time!

7. Imperial Treasure Cantonese Cuisine

Imperial Treasure Cantonese Cuisine, with their team of chefs from Hong Kong, brings the best of traditional Cantonese cooking to connoisseurs and Chinese food lovers in Singapore.

[smartslider3 slider=”93″]

Have a slurp of the Double-boiled Abalone Soup with Chicken & Sea Whelk ($42.80) and invigorate your senses with its rich broth. If you’re looking for a full feast, try the Fried Crispy Noodles with Seafood ($27.82) and Sautéed Prawn with Singapore Style Chilli Sauce ($34.20).

Don’t forget to order a portion of the Roasted Pork ($16) too! With its crispy and crunchy skin, this deluxe siew yoke will leave you feeling super shiok.

8. TiffinLabs Funan Food Hall

Bon voyage and bon appétit! With TiffinLabs Funan Food Hall, you’ll be embarking on a gastronomic tour of various world cuisines.

[smartslider3 slider=”97″]

Journey to Mexico with the Loaded Nachos Fries ($13). Slathered in velvety nacho cheese, tomato salsa and a generous serving of guacamole, the crispy fries are an upgrade from regular tortilla chips. Looking to stay within Asia? Take a trip to the Han River Park with the Korean Fried Chicken Wings ($12.50). The wings are coated with your choice of soy garlic sauce or sweet and spicy yangnyeom sauce. Yang-nyom indeed.

If you’re searching for healthier options, TiffinLabs will deliver as well. Get your daily greens with the Signature Rocket Salad with Parma Ham ($18) and Romaine Salad with Smoked Salmon (S$16.98) without sacrificing your tastebuds.

9. Paradise Kitchen

From Paradise Group, home to well-loved brands such as Beauty in The Pot, Canton Paradise and ParaThai is Paradise Kitchen. Operating on a delivery-exclusive concept, Paradise Kitchen serves up familiar homely delicacies with a twist.

[smartslider3 slider=”95″]

Signatures include the Stewed Vermicelli with King Prawn in Prawn Broth ($13.80), a modern and luxurious take on the traditional Singaporean prawn mee soup. Accompanied by tender slices of pork and sweet King Prawns, this is a real treat!

And if you’re a salted egg lover, go for the Crisp-fried Fish Skin with Salted Egg Yolk ($9.90) or the egg-cellent Crisp-fried Crystal Prawns ($23.80).

10. Jai Siam

Halal-certified Jai Siam has been serving up authentic Thai food since 1999, and we’re stoked it’s joined the growing slate of Thai food delivery services in Singapore.

Top picks include the Pandan Chicken ($5 per piece), where chicken chunks are cooked to juicy, pandan-perfumed perfection.
