Ah, it’s March… where has all the time gone? Marking off the slew of holidays and long weekends off our calendars, most of us have since returned to our usual routines. If you’ve put self-care on the back-burner for the past few months, it’s time to kick back and relax. Don’t forget the upcoming March holidays—a good opportunity for spending quality time with your loved ones. Regardless, if you’re scouring for an easy way to fill up your empty schedule, chilling out with a nice meal at home is always a good idea. Rejuvenate your days with new restaurants on Oddle Eats in March 2021, complete with islandwide delivery.

Be covered for family meals (to celebrate the young ones’ term break) and solo candlelit dinners at home with these delivery spots. Good time? You bet!

1. Blimpie

Our first stop for the day is Blimpie, a deli that has its roots in a neighborhood in New Jersey and serves up sub sandwiches.

Blimpie Best (from $10.50)
The Blimp (from $13.50)

At the top of their list of MVPs is the bestselling Blimpie Best (from $10.50), with a double whammy of turkey ham and oven-roasted turkey, plus beef salami and pepperoni. Finally, the fillings are topped with provolone cheese and a drizzle of red grape vinegar and olive oil. Feeling extra hungry? Upgrade your pass to The Blimp (from $13.50), which comes with fresh roast beef instead of turkey ham.

Chicken Caesar Wrap (from $7.50)
Buffalo Chicken Wrap (from $7.50)

They’ve also got tortilla wraps, such as the Chicken Caesar Wrap (from $7.50) and Buffalo Chicken Wrap (from $7.50).

With islandwide delivery, there’s no need to take the MRT… or the subway. (Ba-dum-tss.) Time to dig into these subs in the comfort of your home!

2. Crystal Jade Jiang Nan

Inspired by the rich culinary heritage of the Jiangnan and Sichuan regions, Crystal Jade Jiang Nan‘s renditions of contemporary Chinese cuisine are not to be missed.

[smartslider3 slider=”164″]

To start off your family’s meal, the Three Delicacies Platter 巧手三拼 ($24.20) featuring a trio of Salted Duck, Smoked Fish, and Spinach with Sesame Sauce is sure to invigorate everyone’s appetite. Mala lovers, for that kick of spice you love, go for the Mala Crispy Roasted Chicken (from $21.60).

Alternatively, lighter on the palate, the Pu-er Tea Smoked Crispy Duck 茶熏鸭 ($39.60 for half, $73 for whole) will delight both young and old. For seafood dishes, try the Sauteed Scallop with Celery in Lao Gan Ma Sauce 西芹老干妈炒带子 ($37).

For smaller portions to tuck into, go with the Yang Chun Noodles with Sakura Ebi 樱花虾阳春面 ($13.90) or Szechuan Dan Dan La Mian with Prawn 鲜虾担担拉面 ($17.80).

3. Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao

Yes, joining the Oddle Eats family alongside Crystal Jade Jiang Nan is Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao! Be transported to The Bund with the restaurant’s soup dumplings and hand-pulled noodles. Now that they have islandwide delivery, you can enjoy their fresh and modern twist on Shanghainese cuisine from home.

[smartslider3 slider=”166″]

The Signature Assorted Xiao Long Bao ($22.90 for 8 pcs) features every flavour you might imagine in a xiao long bao. Slurp on the warm broth of the original Shanghainese version, or try the Salted Egg Yolk, Chilli Crab, and Truffle soup dumplings.

For mains, go for their Signature Szechuan Dan Dan La Mian 招牌四川担担拉面 ($15.20), which will arrive at your doorstep with a copious amount of chilli oil and peanut sauce. For something lighter, have their La Mian served with Double-boiled Chicken Soup 清炖鸡汤拉面 ($16.50) or the mouthwatering La Mian with Chilled Poached Chicken in Szechuan Style 口水鸡拉面 ($16.50).

4. LeVel33

At the intersection between craft and tradition is LeVeL33, the world’s highest urban microbrewery, with great dining options to boot.

[smartslider3 slider=”165″]

Featuring a juicy wagyu beef patty is the Classic Brewery Burger ($26). Good news—it is also available as a gluten-free version. For vegetarians, they’ve also got a Classic Brewery Veggie Burger ($22). Yum! And there’s nothing better than a roast to go along with their craft beers. Have the Wagyu Tri-Tip ($46.50) or Whole Roasted Juicy Corn-Fed Chicken ($128 for 3-4 pax). Their weekend roasts are available only for pickup and delivery orders from 12pm to 3.30pm, so order yours early!

On the drinks menu, they’ve got the Hoppy 10 ($6.50), a special brew for their 10th anniversary. Evergreen options include the smooth and light-bodied 33.1 Blond Lager ($6.50), a more intense 33.3 Stout ($6.50) with an aftertaste that is reminiscent of coffee and bitter chocolate, and the 33.9 Wheat Beer ($6.50) with hints of banana.

5. Swatow City Restaurant

Priding itself on serving the most authentic Teochew-style seafood on our shores, Swatow City Restaurant is the next place you’ve got to add to your to-try list.

[smartslider3 slider=”167″]

Reminiscent of warm home-cooked dinners, dig into the Teochew Prawn Roll 潮州虾枣 ($10) and Steamed Minced Pork with Salted Fish 梅香咸鱼蒸肉饼 ($19) And, yes, Teochew-style meals just aren’t complete without braised dishes. An essential in this category is Swatow’s Teochew Braised Sliced Duck 潮州卤鸭 (from $19).

Can’t make up your mind? The Set Menus (2 pax for $48, 4 pax for $98, 6 pax for $138) will solve all your woes. All sets come with Soup of the Day, Teochew Braised Sliced Duck with Bean Curd, and Mango Pudding for dessert. Have your meal from Swatow delivered for a convenient, delicious, and fuss-free meal!

6. Cajun On Wheels

Ready for a real catch? Reel in the soulful flavours of Louisiana and Creole-style seafood with Cajun On Wheels. What’s more, they are halal-certified! Great for sharing, the Poseidon Bucket ($98 for 2 pax) features Sri Lankan Crab, Prawns, White Clams, Blue Mussels, and more with a sauce of your choice.

Expecting more guests? The Olympian Bucket ($226 for 5-6 pax) will please even the pickiest of the Greek gods (yes, even Zeus himself). It’s a mega-upsized version of the Poseidon Bucket, but with a generous serving of Boston Lobster to top it all off. Can’t help but be shell-fish when it’s this good.

Also, do try their infusion of Cajun cooking with more traditional Malay flavours. For one, the Charcoal Grilled Giant Squid ($20) is grilled with Kicap Manis and served with a Sambal Matah dip and sides.

7. Riverwalk Tandoor

Since its inception in 1998, Riverwalk Tandoor has established itself as one of the biggest Indian restaurant chains in Singapore. The Tandoori Chicken ($18 for 6 pcs, $30 for 12 pcs) is something you can’t miss out on. Seasoned with yoghurt and masala, the chicken is broiled in an authentic, old-school tandoor oven. Prepared in the same way, the Tandoori Jhingha ($20 for 6 pcs, $35 for 12 pcs), or roasted tiger prawns, are also delightfully smoky and yummy.

Bigger groups, have the North Indian Chicken Bento Set ($54.50 for 5 pax) sent to your home with islandwide delivery. It comes with garlic naan and basmati rice to pair with butter chicken and the lentil-based dhall tadka. Plus, it comes with gulab jamun (deep-fried milk balls soaked in sugar syrup) for a sweet end to your meal!

8. Casa Verde

If you’re a big fan of Peperoni Pizzeria, you will love Casa Verde, both of which fall under Les Amis Group. Casa Verde, or ‘green house’ in Italian, is nestled amidst lush foliage in the heart of the Botanic Gardens. The restaurant boasts a wide selection of wood-fired thin crust pizzas and much more.

[smartslider3 slider=”169″]

Have a go at their pasta offerings with the Vongole ($27) or the Gamberi ($28), cooked in bisque and topped with red caviar and tiger prawns. Looking for a white wine to pair? The tropical notes of the Sasso Dei Lupi Chardonnay Sestavia Umbria ($55) are sure to complement the light flavours of the seafood. Otherwise, go for the Arrabbiata ($19) or Carbonara ($25). Don’t forget to pour yourself a glass of the Terre Gaie Pinot Noir Stema IGT 2017 ($70), a red wine with notes of strawberry and blueberry.

With islandwide delivery, it’s time to feast to your heart’s delight. Bring a piece of the gardens home with their wholesome, heartwarming Italian fare!

9. Jelebu Dry Laksa

Named after a road in Bukit Panjang, Jelebu Dry Laksa is a home-based business that has amassed a following for its take on the hawker dish. (Learn more about Chef Renée Tang Eyrn’s story in our Humans Of F&B feature here.)

Jelebu Platter ($118 for 4 pax)

The star of the show is the Jelebu Platter ($118 for 4-5 pax), which is topped with a whole butter-poached lobster, 4 grilled tiger prawns, crispy sakura ebi, and asari clams a.k.a. lala. Beneath all of that luxe seafood is the Signature Dry Laksa. Cooked with organic young coconut milk and 12 herbs and spices, it’s decadent without being cloying or jelak.

The Jelebu Platter is only available from Wednesdays to Sundays, so do plan out your week and order ahead!

10. Vegamama

Finding vegan food isn’t all that easy in Singapore, and it goes without saying that vegan dim sum is even more of a rarity. With Vegamama, though, having a dim sum party with your vegan friends can be more than just a dream.

Vegan-friendly dim sum? That’s a yes!

From Char Siew Bao ($4.50 for 4 pcs) to Siew Mai ($5.30 by 4 pcs), Lor Mai Gai ($4.60) to vegan Nuggets ($10.20 for 6 pcs), their dishes are perfect for indulging in on a lazy afternoon. For a sampler of everything, get the Vegan Dim Sum Tasting Set ($16.90) or the Mini Sharing Set ($14.90). With islandwide delivery, having vegan food at home has never been this easy!

11. Padi@Bussorah

Fancy yourself a plate of nasi padang with the best flavours from the Malay archipelago? With delivery from Padi@Bussorah, it’s time to feast like a sultan in your own home.

Order the Nasi Ambeng Platter (from $15.90 for 1 pax), which comes with nasi padang must-haves, such as slow stewed beef rendang to stir-fried long beans with tofu and tempeh. And who can miss out on satay? The Premium Satay Platter ($33.40 for 20 pcs) comes with a mix of smoky chicken, beef, mutton and prawn skewers. For Malay-style Western fare, they’ve also got a wide selection of pasta, burgers and pizzas, and more. Sedapnya!

12. Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen

With three Crystal Jade restaurants joining Oddle Eats this month, it’s a reason to celebrate. Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen, with its reimagination of timeless and irresistible Cantonese favourites, is here to bring the char chaan teng experience to your home!

[smartslider3 slider=”177″]

Have a Hong Kong-style breakfast at home with your Crystal Jade delivery and tuck into the Steamed Siew Mai with Fish Roe 鱼子蒸烧卖 ($8.10 for 4 pcs) and Steamed Cheong Fun with Dough Fritter 港式炸両肠 ($6.90). For something heavier, the seafood dishes, such as the Live Prawn ($37 for 300g) and Marble Goby 笋壳 ($81.80) can be cooked in different styles according to your preference.

13. CARNE

Most of us see burgers as great grub for busy days, rather than something to savour and appreciate with every bite. With CARNE, helmed by Mauro Colagreco, an Italian-Argentine chef who ranked top in the World’s Best Restaurants in 2019 and owner of the 3-Michelin starred Mirazur in France, that sentiment is about to change.

This is no run-of-the-mill burger chain. As a Certified B Corporation, CARNE is committed to supporting small communities and local producers all while promoting sustainable food production. Patties are made with 100% natural grass-fed beef that doesn’t endanger native grasslands, and vegetables are cultivated without chemicals in local orchards.

Feast on the Beef and Chimchurri Burger (from $24), with a succulent beef patty, local arugula, and organic red onion sandwiched in between pillowy buns. Otherwise, the Classic Burger (from $19.50) is sure to placate your cravings.
