With the wet season officially here and COVID-19 raining on our parades (pun intended), most of us are cooped up at home. All this chilly weather has me craving a hot, piping bowl of noodles. There’s nothing better than some rich, delicious broth to warm our bellies and our hearts. Here is my list of the 10 best noodle delivery restaurants that deliver straight to your doorstep. Read on for my recommendations, from beef noodles to prawn noodle delivery, and wanton noodles delivery to ramen delivery!

1. Best of Japanese Ramen noodles: Ippudo

If you know anything there is know about ramen, the legendary Ippudo should be amongst your top picks when it comes to classic tonkotsu ramen. World-renowned for its multiple award-winning dishes, Ippudo’s signature red bowls are a hallmark of its ramen legacy.

For those of you on a budget, their Business Value Lunch for 1 ($15) includes their Zero Ramen, a lighter version of their usually heavier broth, Hakata-style noodles and melt-in-your-mouth chashu. This set meal also comes with a salad, a side dish, and a drink—guaranteed to hit the spot.

You also can’t go wrong with the Shiromaru Motoaji Ramen ($16.35). Their original creamy tonkotsu broth is featured, along with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, black fungus and spring onion. Looks are definitely deceiving with this one, because this umami bowl of goodness packs a punch.

2. Ramen meets Prawn Noodles: Le Shrimp Ramen

From Paradise Group comes yet another chain of restaurants—Le Shrimp Ramen marries the flavours of both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, combining Japanese ramen broth and Chinese la mian

If it’s your first time at Le Shrimp, go for the Le Signature Trio Shrimp Ramen ($20.50). The star of this dish is their rich specialty shrimp broth, which combines fresh prawns, pork bones and Chinese spices. Paired with juicy shrimps, handmade prawn dumplings, and ebiko prawn paste, this filling bowl is guaranteed to leave you satisfied.

Their Red Garoupa with Picked Vegetable Tonkotsu Ramen ($20.50) features an interesting union of Japanese-style broth with Chinese elements! Otherwise, opt for the Ebiko Prawn Paste with Chilli Vinaigrette Ramen ($13.91) for a spicy kick.

3. Japanese Ramen from all your favourite brands: Ramen Champion

Ramen Champion‘s selection of ramen is immense, to say the least, with brands like Gyumaru, Ikkyu, Menya Ryu, and Buta God. Each stall has its own specialty dish, like the Special Tonkotsu Ramen (from $15.80) from Tonkotsu Ikkyu, featuring numerous slabs of chashu and a rich, creamy pork bone-based broth.

Menya Ryu offers a plethora of unique fare like their Magma Ramen (from $16.80), which mixes up to 16 kinds of spices, or the Sapporo Special Miso Ramen (from $16.80) that is cooked with three kinds of miso.

4. Ramen noodles at affordable prices: Suparakki Ramen

Meaning “super lucky” In Japanese, Suparakki Ramen serves bowls of goodness at affordable prices. They exclusively use freshly-made Hakata-style ramen, and their broth is hard-boiled for six hours to achieve a full, collagen-like richness.

One of Suparraki’s specialty dishes is their Dry Truffle Ramen ($9.50). The house recipe includes freshly made ramen, with stir-fried shredded pork, topped with a house-made sauce and drizzled with truffle oil.

Their bestseller is, of course, the Original Tonkotsu Ramen ($10.80). The soup-er dish uses a unique blend of pork bones to create a smooth, creamy, rich soup stock. Flavoured with a combination of Japanese shoyu, sea salt and kelp, you’re guaranteed maximum satisfaction!

5. Beef noodles for the adventurous: Tongue Tip Lanzhou Beef Noodles

Tongue Tip Lanzhou Beef Noodles serves authentic tongue tip beef noodles, as its name suggests, with recipes dating back to the Muslim Chinese (Hui) people. Yes, they are Halal-certified.

Signature Beef Noodles ($10.90)

Spoilt for choice? You can’t go wrong with the Shrimp Wanton Noodle ($8.80). A classic staple of Chinese cuisine, available both dry and with soup. The succulent wantons and the sauce-coated egg noodles make for a comforting dish to satisfy your cravings.
