Their Original Lobster Roll (from $28) is indeed legendary — the best I’ve had, if I may add. That said, the B&L Beast Burger ($23) is also worth the try if you love a chunky, solid burger. Complete your lavish meal with elevated side dishes like the Lobster Mac and Cheese ($17) and Salted Egg Yolk Baby Squid ($12) too.

2. Genki Sushi

Hosting a party? Genki’s platters are perfect to go around the table.

Established in 1990 in Japan, Genki Sushi is one of the go-to places for quality and affordable sushi. If you love mentaiko in particular, you’re in luck. From Salmon Mentai ($3.20) aburi sushi, to Mentai Roll ($5.20), to even Mentai Mayo Fries ($4.50), they offer plenty of mentaiko goodness. When it comes to dim sum, Tim Ho Wan springs to mind. The world’s second-cheapest Michelin-starred eatery offers sumptuous dim sum at extremely affordable prices. Some must-have Dim sum items here include the Baked BBQ Pork Buns 酥皮焗叉烧包 ($8.40 for 3pcs), Pork & Shrimp Dumplings 鲜虾烧卖皇 ($6.50 for 3pcs) and BBQ Pork Rice Rolls 蜜味叉烧蒸肠粉 ($7.50 for 3pcs). Over here, the most popular item is their sweet and savoury 脆嘩奶油豬 Crispy Bun with Condensed Milk ($4.70).
